You might be looking for support if...
You’ve had a baby. Everyone’s asking how the baby is but you’re quietly wondering when your body will feel steady again.
Maybe:
-
Your core feels “switched off” or wobbly
-
Your back is doing all the work (and it’s tired)
-
You feel pressure or heaviness through your pelvis
-
You’re nervous to exercise because you don’t want to make things worse
-
You’re carrying, feeding, rocking, lifting… and your body is keeping score
This isn’t about “bouncing back.” It’s about feeling supported while you rebuild.
What is postpartum core recovery?
Postpartum core recovery is a 6 week course that is gentle, progressive support to help you reconnect with your deep core system: including breath, pelvic floor coordination, abdominal wall function, and how your body manages pressure.
Our aim is to help you feel:
-
More stable and confident in your body
-
Stronger in everyday movements (lifting, carrying, feeding)
-
Less tense through your back, hips, and shoulders
-
Clear on what to do next (without overwhelm)
Every body and every birth is different. We tailor everything to you.
This is for you if…
-
You’re newly postpartum and want a safe, guided starting point
-
You’ve been postpartum for months (or years) and still don’t feel “right”
-
You’ve been told you have diastasis/abdominal separation and want support
-
You feel pelvic heaviness, pressure, or instability (especially when tired)
-
You want to return to exercise, running, or strength training with confidence
-
You want a calm, evidence-informed plan that fits around your baby
What your support might include
-
Depending on what’s appropriate for you, we may include:
-
Breath and ribcage work to support pressure management
-
Gentle deep core activation and coordination
-
Pelvic floor and core “teamwork” cues (without fear or force)
-
Posture and movement support for feeding, carrying, and lifting
-
Progressive strengthening (when you’re ready)
-
Practical home guidance that fits into real life
Frequently asked questions
How soon postpartum can I start?
It depends on your birth, your recovery, and how you’re feeling. If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll help you choose the most appropriate next step.
Do I need to have diastasis to book?
No! many mums book because they feel unstable, weak, or disconnected, even without a formal label.
Will you give me exercises?
Yes! Where appropriate. We focus on a small number of exercises and cues that feel doable and supportive.
Can I bring my baby or toddler?
Yes. You’re welcome to bring your little one. We’re set up to be family-friendly.
What if I've had a C-section
